Criminal lawyers you can rely on.
Metin had my charge diverted out of the courts. I only had to go once and Metin was there with me. I will keep seeing my doctors and taking my meds. Thank you Metin.
This was my eighth appearance before the court for drug matters. I was on a Community Correction Order and a Community Release Order both for drug charges. Metin had compiled my medical records and wrote submissions to the Magistrate. He appeared and spoke for me and argued against the Police prosecutor who wanted a harsher penalty. My Community Correction Order and Community Release Order were revoked. I now have a good behavior bond and a fine which I can pay off by doing drug counselling through a Work Development Order.
There is much to be said about a lawyer with sharp intellect, impeccable manners and a British accent. Even more to be said when he is a dazzlingly skilled lawyer, and a magnanimous human whose humility leaves all at ease. Metin I cannot thank you enough for the dismissal of my case and the restoration of my good name.
I met Metin at court when he had finished appearing for another client. My matter was listed for hearing but my Solicitor had not come to court. I asked Metin for help.
Metin discovered that Police did not have their witnesses at court and appeared for me. Metin objected to the Police application to adjourn and spoke to the Magistrate who did not allow the Police adjournment. Police had to withdraw the case and it was over.
Police were called by neighbors when I had an argument with my wife. Police recorded a conversation they had with my wife and then took out an ADVO. My wife did not want this but Police refused to withdraw it. Metin negotiated with NSW Police and appeared at court and the ADVO was withdrawn by Police.
I do not speak English.
I have been to court for other knife offences in the past. Metin arranged an interpreter and appeared at court for me. He had spoken with my Doctor who wrote a letter. He made an appointment for me to see the court mental health nurse.
The charge was dismissed at court.
Thank you.
Police refused me bail saying the four Strictly Indictable charges were too serious and there will be a trial in the District Court. I was taken from the police station to prison and held overnight.
Metin made a bail application the next morning and I was out of custody by 4pm.
Thank you for getting my charge withdrawn and dismissed on the day of the hearing. No conviction, no fine, no court costs. Thank you, thank you.
You are so scrupulous, meticulous and thorough. You miss nothing! Thank you and thank you again
Thank you for representing me numerous times with this court matter and always reassuring me that things would be okay and always being so knowledgeable and transparent with what would be happening in court. Thank you again for all the help, support, and kindness that you have shown me every step of the way in this matter.
Police came to my home after I had argued with my wife. I was arrested and thrown to the floor.
Police charged with me with Contravene prohibition / restriction in ADVO, Assault Police Officer in Execution of Duty x 2 and Resist / Hinder Officer in Execution of Duty.
All matters were dismissed and diverted out of Court.
Metin's attention to detail and knowledge of law was outstanding.
All matters were dismissed and diverted out of Court. I can't believe the nightmare is over. No more court, no more bail conditions. Thanks so much for all of your help Metin. Such a relief.
Thank you for all your support with this matter. I was charged with Common Assault, Larceny and Excluded person fail to leave licensed premises.
After your help, advice and preparation you spoke to the charging Police Officer, the Police Prosecutor and the Magistrate who dismissed all three charges on the first Court date.
I had three Domestic Violence assault charges against me and a difficult ADVO. You negotiated at the Downing Centre Local Court with the police prosecutor and the Officer In the Case to withdraw two of the charges.
My matter was finished today with a good behavior bond for 12 months and a reduced ADVO. Now I can meet with my partner and family again and we can try to move on with our lives.
We sincerely thank you!
For our daughters’ Domestic Violence case, the professional efforts, contributions and precious time devoted to the case, we are joyful that it reached a successful outcome, all because of your hard work.
We are sincerely grateful.
I was charged with possession of 60 caps whist I was on bail for other possession charges. You got me bail, helped me with rehab and got me into counselling. It took six months from charge to sentencing but no prison for me.
I was on Holiday from France when I was charged with supply of Ecstasy.
Police refused me bail and kept me over night in a cell. You appeared for me and the court gave me strict bail and held my passport.
Thank you for taking time to explain everything to me and also my mother back in France.
Thank you so much Metin for your assistance and guidance. Three months ago police took out an ADVO against me with my daughter as the person in need of protection.
My daughter has an intellectual disability and I am her carer and support person. She told neighbors that I had beaten her.
After you wrote to police and appeared in court for us police agreed to withdraw their application and the ADVO. I did not know police can withdraw an ADVO.
I just wanted to say thankyou greatly for taking the time to assist me it means more than you know.
Fined $800, disqualified for the minimum period and Mandatory Interlock Exemption Granted. The minimum disqualification period and a fine I can pay off within 1 month. I could not be happier with the outcome.
This was not my first drink driving matter and the penalty was less than the first time.
I had three prior drink drive offences, two High-Range PCA's. I had been suspended for 18 months and 30 months. When I got my third PCA charge I thought I would be off of the road for 2 years or even facing imprisonment. With Metin's help and guidance we prepared for court and I am back on the road in three months.
Me being off of the road has caused stress and problem's for my work and has caused my wife a lot of extra driving with our three children.
My wife and I are so relieved that we can get back on track.
Thank you so much.
I am 74 years old. My wife of 54 years has Alzheimer's. She thought I was having an affair with our young female neighbor.
My wife got angry and shouted at me. She chased me into the garden and tried to hit me with a broom. Somebody called police and they came and charged my wife. I begged police not to charge her.
You appeared for my wife in court but she could not remember why she had been charged.
You wrote to the police commander and he withdrew the charge and then the Magistrate refused to make a Final ADVO.
Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for being there for me. I have schizophrenia. First I only had one charge. Then I drank alcohol on my medication and the next thing I knew police were here again. They had recorded by boyfriend telling them what happened.
I was charged again and bail refused. You got me out the police station and into rehab.
We got a health report from my Dr and all charges were diverted by a Section 14. Even the ADVO Final Order was reduced to minimum conditions.
I was on a student Visa and in my final year at uni when I was charged with supply of 26 pills at a festival. My boyfriend asked me to carry them in for him.
Thank you for representing me and referring me to counselling. My GP agreed with the referral to a Psychologist. I did not even have to pay for the sessions.
A Section 10 in the District Court.
My heartrate is still pumping but so relieved the charges have been dealt with. It has been a tragic year and we thank you as a family for helping our daughter through this terrible process.
Being found not guilty after the hearing has helped me get over this. It was a terrible accident.
Metin responded deftly to the prosecution and the Judge this enabling me to leave court and the charges behind me and to get on with my life.
